Exercise is referred as bodily activity; it enhances health of the body and maintains the body shape. Exercise is good for body health i.e. strengthens the muscles, healthier for cardiovascular system, honing athletic proficiency, weight loss and fitness of the body. Physical exercise on daily basis will sharpen up the immune system of the body.
It will reduce cardiovascular disease, obesity and diabetes. Now days, the global concern is child obesity; regular exercise will decreases the effects of obesity in children. Mental illness is a common disease in our society because of impulsiveness and results in depression, fatigue and mental disorders; physical exercise will reduce mental illness and other related disorders.
Common exercises are categorized into three types which are as follows:
• Flexibility exercise:
Flexibility exercise includes stretching of joints and body muscles.
• Aerobic exercise:
It encompasses swimming, rowing, cycling, walking, hiking and playing golf etc. It increases the body stamina and strengthening your body muscles.
• Anaerobic Exercise:
It involves functional training and weight training to boosts muscle strength.
All the common exercises are beneficial for the body and its health. Exercises positively effect on the body; maintains the body fitness, increases bone density, strengthen the muscles, enhances mobility of joints, reduces all surgical risks, sharpen up an immune system and finally it decreases cortisol level in the body. Cortisol level must be maintained properly because hormonal disorder can leads to harmful effects on the body. Aerobic exercises are better for insomnia and blood pressure.
Vigorous and excessive exercise can lead to a sudden death; that is the reason that you should always speed up exercise gradually. There is a myth in exercise which is absolutely wrong that when the person stops doing exercise then the muscle tissues would be converting into fat tissues. Spot reduction is another myth that one can reduce the fat of one area by doing a specific exercise i.e. sit ups can reduce the fats of abdomen. Regular and balanced exercise is better than the irregular and excessive exercise.
Exercise trend is comparatively lower as compared to some years back and the credit goes to new technology, transportation and computers; but the fact must be cleared that all the common exercises will help you in maintaining yourself because for a person, health is more important than any thing else in the world. Adequate nutrition is required in the body for regular exercises and to remain fit.
